Community Manager

Why The Creative Co-Operative?

The Creative Co-Operative is Australia’s first startup agency that is 100% owned, led and operated by migrant Women of Colour focussed on lifting the economic access barriers faced by WoC. We do this by engaging WoC in paid professional work across design, marketing and digital projects. This work, in turn, helps fund our community projects to directly amplify and support the WoC community. To date we have provided 30+ paid opportunities for Women of Colour and we just turned 6 months old the other week. If you heard about impact projects like #ShareThePlatform and the Curious About Culture Festival – we were behind them too. Check us out on instagram on @creative_cooperative where we are most active!

About the Team

As a brand new social enterprise, we are a small team who wear multiple hats and swap tasks if we need to. As a Community Manager, your role will be to engage with and support our various community groups to set up for success. You will work with our team, clients, partners, creatives, entrepreneurs and other groups across both client projects and community projects.
