Campaign Targeting Systemic Racism in the Workplace

WHAT THE CLIENT REQUIRED

#STP was a campaign incepted, developed and delivered by our founder Priyanka Ashraf, in response to the lack of conversation or action in the startup ecosystem about systemic racism in Australia.

The goals of this campaign aligned with those of anti-racism organisation One Love Australia, who suggested a campaign partnership.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

We paired the likes of Malcolm Turnbull, Janine Allis, Daniel Flynn, Seth Godin and Guy Kawasaki to interview and amplify First Nations and People of African Descent founders and their startups through a series of video interviews released on social media.

VALUE DRIVEN

The initiative was exposed to over 4 million people in 33 different countries. It was incepted and delivered in under 7 weeks, backed by over 65 organisations and led to new collaborations with organisations to extend the initiative to amplify more founders – all done remotely and in the middle of a global pandemic. Attracted organic coverage in SmartCompany, Future Women, Business Chicks, Women’s Agenda, BlackSonRise.
